With the Link Scheduler module, available only in the ThirstyAffiliates Pro version, you can easily set the dates for your affiliate links to become active and/or expire.
Start by enabling it under ThirstyAffiliates->Settings->Modules section:
Once enabled, the global Link Scheduler settings (applied to all affiliate links) will become available:
a) Before start redirect URL (global) – The value here will be used when the before start redirect URL field in the affiliate link is empty. (Defaults to the home URL).
b) Before start redirect type (global) – The redirect type to use when before start redirect URL is implemented. Choose either 302 (Temporary) or 307 (Temporary alternative).
c) Link expiration redirect URL (global) – The value here will be used when the after expire redirect URL field in the affiliate link is empty. (Defaults to the home URL).
d) Link expiration redirect type (global) – The redirect type to use when after expire redirect URL is implemented. Choose either 302 (Temporary) or 307 (Temporary alternative).
HOW TO SET LINK SCHEDULE FOR INDIVIDUAL THIRSTYAFILLIATES LINKS
Aside from the global options, you can set a link scheduler for any of your ThirstyAffiliates links. To do that, just follow these simple steps:
1. Go to ThirstyAffiliates->Affiliates links, and click “Edit” to edit your chosen link:
2. Once in the link settings, make sure to have the “Link scheduler” enabled under the “Screen elements” option:
3. Scroll down to the Link Scheduler option and set your desired start and expire date, as well as Before start redirect URL and Link expiration redirect URL.
Don't forget to save the settings.
Please note that the Link scheduler settings set for the individual link, override the global link scheduler settings.
